UCPath Employment - Daily & FINITE universes

While there is a lot being released this time, the report changes are mostly Purpose Page additions and formatting changes with the exception of some minor additions to the Unit Roster report. However, the UCPath Employment Daily and FINITE universe updates fix issues in the Unit Roster, DOPE and Headcount reports. 

Highlights of what’s new

UCPath All Employees-Unit Roster Report Changes

1. “Reports To” was added to the report. This comes from the “PS Reports To Employee Name” object, which ultimately pulls from the job record.
   
   
   
   
   
2. A “Current or Future Jobs” optional prompt was added that defaults to “Current”. This provides the ability to view data related to future effective dated job records.
   
   
   
   
   
3. See the UCPath Employment Daily universe updates below for a fix to an issue where some individuals were falling out of the report due to a special situation based on the timing of a department change and related funding entry records.

UCPath - DOPE report

1. No changes were made to the actual report, but see the UCPath Employment Daily universe updates below for a fix to an issue where running the report by the Earnings End Dt prompts did not return benefits records. This has been corrected. However, since the related benefits table only began to fully populate the UC_EARN_END_DT & UC_EARN_BGN_DT values after the 5/31/2020 Pay End Dt, this fix will only show benefits records in their entirety for Earnings End Dt >= 6/1/2020.

UCPath All Employees-Headcount reports

1. A number of formatting changes were made to both reports to make it easier to identify the FOAPALs, Account Code Pool Titles & associated totals.

UCPath Employment Daily - Universe changes

1. The following update is related to a special situation where some employees were falling out of the Unit Roster report based on the timing of a department change and related funding entry records. R_DEPT_BUDGET_ERN.ERNCD was added to the join between MAX_EFFECTIVE_SEQ and R_DEPT_BUDGET_ERN.
   
   
2. The following update was implemented to prevent record duplication (more like multiplication) from the join to the R_UC_BDGT_DIST_EN table. This caused some Dist. FTE values to multiply on the Headcount reports. The UCBDGT_MAXSEQ derived table update to the join includes a max(EFFDT) and max(EFFSEQ) to only pull the proper record(s) from R_UC_BDGT_DIST_EN.
   
   
   
   
3. The Salary and Benefits derived table was updated to fix an issue that was occurring on the UCPath - DOPE report. Benefits records were not being returned when the report was run using the Earnings End Dt prompts. Related to this, the Labor Ledger Benefits table’s UC_EARN_BGN_DT & UC_EARN_END_DT columns are null for all records through the 4/30/2020 Pay End Dt and are not completely populated for all records until after the 5/31/2020 Pay End Dt. As a result, this fix will only show benefits records in their entirety for Earnings End Dt >= 6/1/2020.

FINITE - Universe changes

1. The Salary and Benefits derived table in FINITE was updated with the same change that was made to the Salary and Benefits derived table in the UCPath Employment - Daily universe.
