Access Levels

Universe Access

Each universe in InfoView is handled separately, meaning that a user can have different access for each data-set based on their needs.

Access Level has two parts:

Data Access Level describes what fields (columns and rows) each user can see in the universe.

• General (Default)
• Central
• Restricted
• Unit-Specific

Functional Access Level describes the actions that a user can take with reports based on the universe data.

• Limited
• Read-Only
• Report-Writer

Functional Access Levels can have any Data Access Level, excepting "Limited" access, which always has the most restricted data access possible.
