Step-by-Step Guide

Prerequisite: Have your report open and make sure it is in Design Mode. If necessary, refresh your report.

1. Click inside the cell that you want to change. To select more than one cell, hold down control (command on a mac) and click on the next cell(s) that you wish to select.

Note: Column content in a table always behaves as a block, meaning that any change to one cell will effect all of the column (not including headers). You can see which cells will change based on the grey shadows that appear when a cell is selected.

2. Right click on the cell (command + click on a mac) and select "Format Cell...". Then, select:

  • "Alignment" to change text location within a cell
  • "Font" to change fonts, sizes and styles

OR

Navigate to the "Formatting" menu and use the buttons in the submenus Font, Style, Numbers, Alignment and Tools to make your changes.

Note: Buttons will be unclickable unless a cell with text is selected.
